Cancellation Policy
The cancellation policy of HireUs is subject to alteration and/ or updates whenever they see it fits without prior notice. Please review our cancellation policy meticulously and regularly for the latest updates and to be mindful of the cancellation charges that you may be liable for. Please do NOT proceed to avail of our services or render them until you read and agree to the entirety of our policy. These policies are applicable for all platforms under HireUs, including the website and the mobile application.
Customer Cancellation:
- All cancellations or rescheduling can be made either through our Official Online Mobile Application or by promptly reaching out to our Customer Care Unit
- Customers are eligible to cancel or reschedule any service from the time of booking such service until 30 minutes before which the service request is due for scheduled services.
- Customers are eligible to cancel or reschedule any service within 10 minutes of booking such service in case of an immediate service request.
- In the event of cancellation or rescheduling of service before the arrival of the service vendor at the venue, the customer is liable to a minimum cancellation or inconvenience fee as HireUs deems fit which is bound to vary in each case.
- In the event of cancellation or rescheduling of service after the arrival of the service vendor at the venue, the customer is liable to a set fee which is inclusive of cancellation charges and all other charges that may be applicable.
- Customers are advised against 3 or more cancellation requests or rescheduling of services in a day. Recurring cancellations and rescheduling shall lead to the suspension of the user account from HireUs or permanent discontinuation of all services under HireUs.
- Any ill-treatment, abusive or hostile behaviour directed at our service vendors will lead to immediate termination of the user account from HireUs.
- In the unlikely event of a service delay due to negligence or unavoidable predicaments from the service vendors’ end, the customer is not inclined to bear any cancellation charges.
- It is requested of the customers to acknowledge external factors (and in rare occasions, unpreventable personal complications) on the off chance of a delay and to refrain from impulsive cancellations. It is also not recommended to evade any communication with the service vendor to avoid confusion and further delay.
- HireUs reserves the right to cancel any service request at any time when it considers it appropriate with prompt notice to the customer of the same. Please note that HireUs will not be accountable to anyone or susceptible to any charges.
Cancellation by Service Vendor:
The service vendor is entitled to agree to the terms and conditions of HireUs as agreed upon in the employment contract. Failure to comply shall lead to the temporary suspension, penalty or permanent termination of the contract with the service vendor.
- Cancellation of service requests by service vendor after their confirmation of request is strictly prohibited (also agreed upon by service vendor in Terms of Service).
- Service vendors are granted a maximum of 3 service requests decline a day. Any more cancellations shall entail a penalty, the amount being left to the sole discretion of HireUs.
- Service requests shall be cancelled by service vendors 2 hours before their scheduled appointment after submitting a valid reason to HireUs. However, cancellations are not allowed for immediate service requests.
- Any kind of harassment, abusive speech or misbehaviour while rendering services will not be entertained by HireUs. The service vendor shall be entitled to a penalty, deduction of service ratings, and/ or termination of the contract which shall be effective immediately.
- Service vendors are not bound to accept service requests in case of rescheduling, considering it is permissible under the contract rules of HireUs.
HireUs reserves the right to retain the information provided by the customers and service vendors for the reason of cancellation. These shall be used to evaluate vendor behaviour and performance.
Refund Policy:
Bearing in mind that refunds shall be applicable only for online payments, in the following cases, the customer is entitled to a refund:
- Any ill-treatment, abusive or hostile behaviour directed by the service vendor.
- Partial or deficient service rendered by the service vendor.
- Providing incorrect service.
A claim for refund can be registered by the customer through email in no more than 5 days from the date of the service being rendered. The request shall be processed within 24 hours and the customer would be notified of the final decision within 7 days via mail or text message. The refund, if approved, shall be credited to the HireUs’ customer account wallet. If the customer chooses not to, the refund shall be made as per the payment mechanism sought by the customer.
HireUs reserves the right to analyze the complaint request, hold an inquiry with the service vendor and determine if such a complaint falls under the above-mentioned categories. The request shall be approved if HireUs believes it fulfils the set conditions.
All decisions on refunds made by HireUs shall be final and binding.
